A study on: Prevalence of work-related health hazard among loco pilots of Kolkata, West Bengal, India

Abstract:

Railway drivers also known as loco pilot perform in an environment that they have little control and in an atmosphere that disrupts their schedules interferes with their personal life and makes it impossible to arrange social events and take regular breaks. The moderating impact of personality factors on employment demands and their numerous health consequences include sleep issue, tiredness, stress, and depressive symptoms. The goal of this research is to determine the stress level of locomotive pilots or train drivers. The job of railway conductor is regarded as quite difficult, and this article address the elements that contribute to stress and exhaustion, and hence a high risk of accidents The goal of this research is to focus on the numerous elements which is impacting on health.
